At SAFIX, we are committed to providing reliable products and after-sales support to help you shop with confidence. This policy explains our warranty periods and terms, as well as how to request a replacement or return.
1. Product Warranty
- Most SAFIX products come with a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty period for each product is printed on the product itself.
- The warranty period begins on the purchase date shown on the invoice or valid proof of purchase.
- We do not accept returns of products that have been scratched or damaged due to misuse.
- Products equipped with USB ports or modules:
- The USB port or module is covered by a 2-year warranty only, starting from the purchase date.
- The remaining parts of the product retain their 5-year warranty, where this is the specified warranty period for the product.
- The expiry of the USB warranty after two years does not affect the warranty coverage of the remaining parts. Each fault is assessed based on the affected component and its applicable warranty period.
- We reserve the right to determine whether a returned product meets the criteria stated above.
2. What Does the Warranty Cover?
- The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, as well as faults that occur during normal use in accordance with the product’s operating and installation instructions.
- After inspecting the product and confirming that the fault is covered by the warranty, SAFIX will repair or replace the affected component, or replace the product if repair is not possible, at no cost to the customer for resolving the covered fault.
3. What Is Not Covered by the Warranty?
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Misuse or use of the product for purposes other than its intended purpose.
- Installation or wiring that does not comply with the product’s instructions.
- Operation at voltages or electrical loads exceeding the specified ratings.
- Breakage, impacts, or exposure to water or moisture beyond the product’s specified protection rating.
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs that caused the fault.
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic changes resulting from use, unless caused by a manufacturing defect.
These exclusions apply to a warranty claim only when they are related to the cause of the reported fault.
